My goodness! What a week! Last week was one of those where you wonder how you're going to be every place at once when there's more than one place for you to be - does that make sense at all? Who knows...anyway, we were BUSY!!

Josh placed 2nd in long jump at this track meet.

a little too much travel time on his hands - Jake spelled out the word 'blood' with his fingers!

Probably the only restaurant I'll ever be in with this painted on the floor:
Standing in the crowd waiting for the concert doors to open. They didn't sell tickets. We paid $10 each at the door - SOOO worth it even with the 2 hour wait!!
Here's a rundown:
John had Living Last Supper (LLS) practice at our church every night until the performances on Wednesday and Thursday. After 3 years of portraying Jesus Christ, I like to say he was "demoted" to playing Judas. He said he was trying to avoid the typecast! haha! So he stayed busy most of the week with that. Monday night, the rest of us nearly froze to death at Jake's baseball doubleheader...40 degrees but with the wind, it felt like 30! Thankfully, that same night, Josh's track meet was postponed because of, yes you guessed it, cold weather.
Wednesday afternoon was Josh's track meet postponed from Monday and also the first performance of the LLS at church. Josh had already agreed to do the spotlight for LLS before the track meet was rescheduled, so I had to watch the clock while watching Josh in his events to make sure he could finish and we could get to the church on time.
On Thursday, same story, different day except we added baseball! Josh had a track meet, Jake had a doubleheader, both at different places and John was at church. I made a quick trip to SE to watch Josh do his long jump before heading north of Pittsburg to watch Jake play ball. His ball game was cut short due to lightening and heavy rain so we were able to make it to the church in time again for the last LLS performance. Whew! Tired yet? Thankfully, the kids had a 4 day weekend and I took the time off too so that Friday we could just chill out a while. Anna, Caleb and I went to see Hannah Montana The Movie in the afternoon and later colored eggs for Easter.
We had a fun day planned on Saturday. We convoyed with my awesome friend Mary and her girls and headed to Springfield, MO to Lambert's Cafe (home of the throwed roll) and the Rock and Worship RoadShow featuring MercyMe, Jeremy Camp, Tenth Avenue North, and Hawk Nelson. We had an amazing time and the concert was GREAT!
We wrapped up the weekend (and began the new week!) with Easter morning church services Sunday morning and everyone at our house for Easter lunch. The weather was dark and rainy, but we made the best of it and we even did a small Easter egg hunt inside.
Weeks like last week are crazy while they're happening, so much so that you breathe a sigh of relief when they're over, but so much fun to look back on! Here's all the pictures:

John as "Judas" is to the left of "Jesus".

WOW...that is beyond busy. But even as busy as it was I'm sure it was lots of fun. Hope you've gotten some rest now. HMMM...maybe if Kristen and I end up going to Missouri for vacation I could get you to meet us at Lambert's :) I'm having a lot of trouble deciding where to go.
