Happy 11th Birthday, Caleb!!

I thought he would be a girl....That was my first thought when I found out I was going to have a 3rd baby. After all, I was the third child in my family after two boys. Why I thought I would follow the same boy/girl pattern that my parents did is beyond me, but anyway....the sonogram said I was having a third boy. What would he look like? Would he look like Jake or Josh? Nope! Neither. He was born on April 20, 1998 and he looked just like Caleb Jordan Thompson and he was perfect! How can 11 years go by so fast??

Caleb, you are an amazing kid! You are super smart, kind, gentle, funny and I have always felt that our souls were connected in a way I can't describe. I feel your feelings. Your heart is huge and I love that you wear it on your sleeve. You are not afraid to let people know what you feel. I can't believe you are 11 years old! Your dad and I are so proud of you!! I hope you have a wonderful birthday - we love you!!
