My heart and mind and prayers have been consumed with and focused on little Abby Riggs lately. Abby is a sweet little 4 year old girl who is fighting one tough battle with leukemia and this week especially continues to fight side effects of the chemo that is hopefully keeping her cancer in remission. We met Abby's mom, Michelle, when she was waiting to bring Abby home from Guatemala and was working through the same adoption agency we used to bring Anna home. Although Michelle and I have only had a chance to visit face-to-face on a few occasions, I feel like I have really gotten to know their whole family through their blog and I've been inspired. It is so amazing to me how quickly we all became friends and continue to be friends from the message board at the agency.
I too have be so concerned about Abby. She is such a sweetie in the fight for her life.
