Sick...!

That word easily sums up the last week at our house. First Jake came home with a fever Monday afternoon. Next, Caleb came home from school Tuesday morning with all the symptoms of flu minus fever (that came later). So I took them both to Urgent Care on my lunch hour Tuesday. Jake tested negative for the flu and was already feeling much better on Tuesday but needed a dr.'s note to return to work and Caleb tested positive for flu. Anna came home from school that same afternoon and went right to sleep - that NEVER happens on a normal day. When she woke up an hour or two later, she had 101 degree fever. Ugh...So Wednesday and Thursday, I played the role of mom, nurse, and teacher trying to keep them comfortable and when they felt ok, trying to keep them up on their school work. I brought my own work home thinking I would have time to do some of it too, but no deal. Caleb was able to go back to school on Friday and Anna was feeling much better but had to stay home one more day since she ran a late fever on Thursday evening. Josh, John and I have - so far so good - stayed well. I have been disinfecting the house this weekend with Lysol and Oust and still using the GermX. We've been drinking our OJ and taking our vitamins too. Hopefully that will be enough!
